Survivors of Heroes

​Survivors of Heroes Retreats are hosted at Holbrook Farms in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Holbrook Farms Retreat, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity dedicated to providing all-expense paid wellness getaways for military widows and families who have lost their loved ones in military service. The experience provides survivors an opportunity to get away and spend time with those who have gone through similar tragedies, helping them through their healing process.

The Mission of Holbrook Farms Retreat is to offer wellness retreats to serve military survivors.
The Vision of Holbrook Farms Retreat is to provide the setting and personal community for
Military Survivors to restore balance, connect with nature,  and ​ensure they are never alone.

Our Story

Holbrook Farms Retreat is a peaceful place where everyone can come together to remember, celebrate, & make new memories in the heart of Minnesota Lakes Country!  Holbrook Farms is a working farm with maple syrup, orchards and gardens. We are an Event Center with current space for 14 overnight guests where families and friends can enjoy all Minnesota Lake Country has to offer. It is the primary location for 'Survivors of Heroes' retreats, but can be utilized for weddings, family reunions, and other retreats and social events.  Reserve Holbrook Farms Retreat for your next event, find us here!
